Wireless Apple CarPlay has been around for some time now, however it has taken aftermarket makers some considerable time to get their wireless compatible head units to market.
Over the last year we have seen a few new wireless Apple CarPlay receivers release in North America, whilst there are some similar models appearing in the EU/UK.
Below is a live list of currently available wireless Apple CarPlay receivers that you can buy and install in your vehicle today.
Alpine iLX-107
Alpine was the first receiver to deliver wireless Apple CarPlay. Sadly due to hardware restrictions, availability worldwide is rather limited. If you’re in the North America you can purchase the iLX-107 wireless Apple CarPlay unit now from various outlets including Amazon. Just don’t expect a release in EU/UK any time soon.

Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX
Like Alpine, Pioneer has also recently adapted its popular 4400NEX head unit with added wireless Apple CarPlay support. The AVH-W4400NEX also support both Android Auto Wireless and Apple CarPlay via a wireless connection plus Wi-Fi Certified Miracast wireless mirroring for older devices, you no longer need to worry about taking your smartphone out of your bag or your pocket before you get into your car.
Note that is head unit does not come with its own navigation or parking assist. It also features a resistive screen where as the Alpine 107 features parking assist and comes with a capacitive screen.
