The MMB Wireless CarPlay Dongle Plus is a great new dongle for CarPlay that also offers the ability to play cast or mirrored video content to your CarPlay screen, as well as playback USB media from a USB drive.

In this video I am going to take you through each step you need to do to update the dongle to the latest software to unlock new features, apply bug fixes and generally improve the experience of the MMB Dongle Plus.

You’ll need a USB Flash Drive to load the update files onto the MMB Dongle, so below you will find some recommended drives, if you don’t have one.

You only need at least 1GB so you can try any cheaper alternatives, just make sure it is from a good brand like SanDisk, Samsung, PNY.
