Elago has built some reasonably priced cases for the iPhone in the past, and this year is no exception, with some good quality cases at very reasonable prices and with a design language that would be similar to cases costing twice the value.
Priced between $18.99 and $29.99, there’s plenty of design and colour choices with the iPhone 16 series of cases from Elago. So if you’re after a case from your iPhone 16 Pro, then Elago is one brand that’s worth checking out. Let’s look at each case they offer for the new iPhone 16 Pro.
Elago MagSafe Silicone Case

One of Elago’s cheapest iPhone 16 cases is their Silicone case. Featuring MagSafe charging and up to 16 colour options, there’s much to like for its relatively cheap asking price. The rear camera bump, protective front lip, and small holes instead of large cutouts for the speaker grill give this case a premium feel. The Stone colourway option of my review case matched my iPhone 16 Pro’s Titanium grey colour, and I like the lower back reduced design to the new camera buttonhole, which allows your finger to get a little closer to the capacitive button than most other cases. It’s a design many other casemakers should adopt.
My main concern is an issue that comes with many silicone cases, and that is that the material can be a bit of a dust, dirt and hair magnet. You’ll likely be swiping the dirt off the case more than swiping on the screen itself.
Elago Leather iPhone 16 Pro Case

Leather case options for iPhones usually come with a high premium price tag. The Leather case from Elago bucks that trend, offering a well-designed case and a good-feeling vegan leather material that looks premium. I would have liked the same individual speaker grill holes from their Silicone case, and I find many people will either like or dislike the sharp-edged side buttons. They certainly make the buttons more pronounced than in other cases, but the edges are just sharp enough to possibly catch pocket material. They do look great, though, and if you like your prominent buttons, this might be a case for you. It’s a great alternative to Apple’s own leather case options at a much cheaper price, too.
Elago MagSafe Hybrid iPhone 16 Pro Case

Clear cases are a great case type that shows off the latest iPhone design whilst keeping it protected from drops and bumps. The Hybrid case from Elago ticks the boxes for a clear case. It isn’t too bulky, and the camera button is wide enough to feel like it can be easier to use than on some other similar cases. Its MagSafe attachment was the best of the three cases reviewed here, so if you’re looking to keep your iPhone looks whilst also keeping the utility of its MagSafe performance, the Hybrid could be for you.
Elago Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro

It is important to keep your screen protected from accidental scratches or faceplants onto hard floor surfaces. Even though Apple says its latest glass is as tough as nails, you only have to pair the screen with some sharp objects or a drop on a corner to know that this claim isn’t 100% accurate. A screen protector from Elago is one of the cheapest out there, and it comes with lots of value-added features. The installation frame and screen protector make for a perfect installation, and the cleaning kit makes sure the phone screen is ready for its application.
Installation was super easy, and I found all the accessories made the installation a breeze. Its edges were slightly curved, and it had a thin black surround to make it look a little more premium. For just $3 more you can get two protectors in black, which is the option I would go for to either protect a second iPhone screen or replace a worn one later in its life span.
