With CES 2019 well and truly underway from tomorrow. It hasn’t stopped a few makers from revealing their upcoming Apple CarPlay receivers head of their grand unveiling on the show floor.
CarPlay Life has received information that Alpine will be joining JVCKenwood in releasing a few new Apple CarPlay receivers during their time at CES 2019.

“Alpine will have two new units equipped with CarPlay”
These words were shared with us last week ahead of any announcements at CES 2019. We hope at least one of these two units will be Apple Wireless CarPlay compatible. So far nearly all upcoming receivers from JVCKenwood are Wireless CarPlay compatible, so we hope this trend continues with other makers in 2019.
We also hope makers up the screen resolution of their receiver displays to at least 720p and that they adopt the more responsive capacitive touch screen technology over the older resistive type.
We will have more news from each CarPlay receiver manufacture during CES 2019 week, along with a round up of what we think was our highlight of the show soon after.
