Kenwood Announce 7 New Wireless Apple CarPlay Receivers At CES 2019

As expected, and teased by Kenwood themselves. Seven new Apple CarPlay receivers were unveiled at this year’s CES 2019 yesterday, all branding wireless capability.

Releasing in 2019, Kenwood had seven new wireless Apple CarPlay receivers to show off during CES 2019. Models with full wireless capability include:

  • KENWOOD eXcelon Reference DNX996XR
  • KENWOOD eXcelon DDX8906S

As well as wireless Apple CarPlay, all receivers also feature Android Auto (also wireless), which also includes Google Assistant alongside Siri functionality during CarPlay.

Further specifications of each receiver is set to be known, because Kenwood has yet to update their website with all the newly announced receivers.
