As part of the upcoming iOS 11.2 beta, Apple Maps will support five additional countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. Previous countries that have supported this feature have been United States and China, since the launch of iOS 11.
The new lane guidance feature in Apple Maps displays a set of arrows on the top corner of the CarPlay display, which indicates which lane you should be in to exit motorways or to take a complete turn.
Apple’s other feature in Maps, speed limits, remains a US and UK only feature.
