Apple has updated their list of CarPlay compatible vehicles with the new additions of Aston Martin and BMW Mini models.
The 2018 Mini Clubman and and Countryman will include support for Apple’s in-car platform. The first inclusion of CarPlay systems will roll out of the factory in Q3 with the 8-inch display (shown above) featuring in the ‘Media Pack XL’ or ‘Tech Pack’ upgrade option.
Meanwhile, Aston Martin has joined the party with the announcement of its Vantage, Vanquish, Rapide and DB9 Volante 2017 models also supporting CarPlay ‘soon’, via the Ami III infotainment system, seen above.
