This is the first part of my Dasaita VIVID 10.2″ Android Head Unit Installed in a Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk7 video. Part 2 will be coming next week, where I go over more of the system and its integration, custom launchers and the pros and cons of doing the installation.
If you would like to do a similar install in your Golf, you can buy this Android head unit and other VIVID models suitable for your vehicle from Dasaita directly → or from the official seller on AliExpress → https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ArlPnp.

In this first part, I wanted to cover my installation journey before demoing the functionality and interaction with the Golf system. This will be coming in Part 2, next week. You can catch my main review video here → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7WRemWWt-8 where I go over most of the stereo’s functions in my demo pod.
Using the Dasaita VIVID in my demo pod gave me enough reassurance to swap out my 4-5-year-old Alpine X902D-G7 stereo head unit in favour of this Android 10 head unit.
At the end of the installation, I am very happy with how it turned out, its speed, how it sounds and how it functions overall. There have been a few compromises, and I will go over this in part 2. So if you’re not already subscribed, please do so, it’s free and it helps support the channel you will be alerted when the next part of this journey goes live very soon.
