JVCKENWOOD Tease New Wireless Apple CarPlay Receivers At CES 2019

A recent press release from Kenwood and its cheaper sub brand JVC contains news that some new upcoming AV navigation receivers from both brands will be unveiled at this years CES 2019.

Kenwood will be showcasing some high-end AV navigation systems equipped with a Garmin navigation engine, which will be wireless Apple CarPlay compatible for enhanced connectivity with smartphones.

JVC, a more cost friendly sub brand of Kenwood, will also be showing off new hardware. These new high-end AV receivers will also support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via a wireless connection.

There will also be what sounds like new low-cost products from JVC supporting Apple CarPlay, including a new mechaless receiver with a short body for ease of installation.

CES 2019 kicks off from Tuesday this week and last up until Friday. However it hasn’t stopped some makers spilling info on what they will be showing off on the show floor this week. Including Alpine who are supposedly showing off two new Apple CarPlay receivers this week too.
