Acura MDX Sport Hybrid to Support Apple CarPlay
Honda’s luxury arm – Acura – has announce Apple CarPlay support for their new 2018 MDX Sport Hybrid SUV.
Both Apple CarPlay and Google’s Android Auto will be supported in the SUV, with control handled through the vehicle’s 7-inch touch screen capacitive display, which has also had a redesigned UI.
Costing a sum of $52,100 the MDX packs additional high-tech features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane assist and warnings for front collisions and lane switching.
2018 has been a positive year for manufacturers supporting Apple CarPlay, with many new models featuring Apple CarPlay as a standard option, whilst automaker – Toyota – finally jumped off the fence with the announcement of Apple CarPlay being featured in its Avalon and Lexus models.
